Swivel Bar Stools
Most of the barstools manufactured
by Alpha Creations are available with or without swivels.
Swivel barstools tend to be a
better choice of chair over the stationary bar chairs due to a variety of
reasons. The main reason for choosing swivel barstools is convenience.
The swivel stools allow you to remain seated whilst you turn to reach for
a wanted item, or to face a person sitting next to or behind you. The
swivel barstools fit into smaller spaces as the swivel allows you to turn
easily to exit the table or counter space.
The swivels utilized by Alpha
Creations do not contain metal ball bearings, thus ensuring that the
movement is smooth and quiet. The swivel mechanism does not rust, as it is
made from two nylon rings with a small amount of lubricant and therefore
it doesn’t need to be lubricated with any form of lubricant.
These furniture swivels are only
meant to turn easily if downward pressure is applied to the seat. This is
an additional safety feature of the swivel, as it prevents the chair from
spinning and causing harm when one walks past it and accidentally brushes
against the seat.
The lifetime warranty that comes
with the swivels installed in to the Alpha Creation bar stools increases
the convenience factor of these swivel bar stools, as the swivel mechanism
does not have to be replaced. The swivels will add about half an inch to
the height of the bar stools and will be slightly slanted for bar stools
with a back. The slight slant makes the bar stools much more comfortable
and the slant is hardly noticeable.
